@earl-of-trumps saidFetterman has been leading in the polls for months. The Susquehanna and Emerson polls were the first two polls in months not for obviously biased Republican pollsters that showed Oz leading him and that was only by 1%, well below the margin of error.
Well, I hope Fetterman "holds on" too, because he is currently losing.
[i]Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz leads Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman in their down-to-the-wire Pennsylvania Senate race, according to two polls taken after their debate last week that show the celebrity TV doctor gaining five percentage points on his Democratic rival since late summer. ...[text shortened]... be more democrats in these polls that will, not vote than republicans.
Watch for the red tsunami
in the meantime, Marist, one of top rated pollsters with virtually no partisan bias (https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/pollster-ratings/) released a poll giving Fetterman a 6 point lead. https://maristpoll.marist.edu/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Marist-Poll_PA-NOS-and-Tables_202211030901-1.pdf
USA Today/Suffolk and Fox News also released polls showing Fetterman leading last week. https://www.suffolk.edu/academics/research-at-suffolk/political-research-center/polls/other-states

So your statement that "Fetterman .......................... is currently losing" is dubious.
The polls are all over the place in the Georgia race (https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2022/senate/ga/georgia-senate-walker-vs-warnock-7329.html) but none but the usual biased Republican ones suggest that Walker has a good chance of reaching the 50% + 1 threshold to avoid a runoff. I maintain that a runoff is the most likely result and that based on recent results in Georgia, Warnock has the edge there - he won the 2020 runoff by 1.6% despite Republican candidates getting more votes in the regular election. Ossoff won the other runoff by 1% despite Perdue finishing 1.8% ahead in the first round of voting.
@no1marauder saidFetterman was a tard before his stroke and now he's really brain damaged:

Democrats vote early and vote often.
God help us.

As I already pointed out, Republican Senator Kirk from Illinois returned to the Senate after a stroke ten years ago; no one insisted that it was a disqualification for the office.
@jj-adams saidDemocrats are voting early in Pennsylvania; about 1.1 mail in ballots have been cast and 70% are from Democrats. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2022-elections/pennsylvania-results

Senator Kirk? Is that you Sonhouse, trying to tell us that this ape is like Kirk ?
@no1marauder saidAbout 2.5 people have voted in Ga already.

Marauder,, your dream girl Stacey Abrams is already saying there is voter suppression! Does everyone get this?
Are you daft?
@no1marauder saidBut, What is Dem policy? Why did no one respond to thread asking what Biden said to The People Thursday night.? He stated not ONE policy. So I guess you are saying it is the Repub policy you want to talk about?
If the Democrats lose, we'll be back arguing about policy to the extent Republicans actually have any policy to argue about.
If the Democrats win, we'll be arguing about how they surely cheated and how it is thus essential to stop as many of the People voting as possible.
And for the record I wold love to discuss future events of our country. Bring It!!

" Congressman Dan Kildee, Chief Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus, today sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, urging him to hold a vote on legislation that has already passed the U.S. House of Representatives to cap the cost of insulin at $35 per month for Americans with diabetes.
The Affordable Insulin Now Act, which Kildee introduced and passed through the House in March with support from Republicans and Democrats. Last month, as a part of the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, Senate Republicans blocked Kildee’s legislation to cap insulin prices for all Americans from becoming law. While Kildee was still able to successfully cap the price of insulin at $35 for seniors on Medicare in the Inflation Reduction Act, his bill, the Affordable Insulin Now Act, would cap insulin prices for all Americans at $35 a month."

Calling a stroke victim "this ape" is typically low class behavior that is now perfectly acceptable for right wingers like making jokes about an 82 year old man getting his skull fractured by a burglar. But I guess when you're icon is Donald Trump, nothing better can be expected.
@averagejoe1 saidIf you really want to know what "Dem policy" is (you don't), here's some homework for you: https://democrats.org/where-we-stand/party-platform/

@no1marauder saidWho is laughing at the Pelosi matter? Certainly not me, so you are on the wrong road with that. I can definitely identify with him.

Yes, any reference about the appearance and the, and the whatever else you can think of regarding him, which is all bad, we have nothing left to do but to chide him as we do, because he will be one of 100 people running a country of 350 million. There is no question in my mind if you had a big meeting at your church or at your country club, and this man was up to run things, you would talk him down. If you do not admit that then I think you are lying.
Be real. You can be all touchy-feely about this guy and how we should prop him up, hire a stenographer for him , give him a break every time he just does not feel up to the job. but I’m talking about this country, which is in a hell of a f’n mess.. I don’t care about him, just for the record, and I care about this country. Not everyone on this forum does. So, I have to fight harder, don’t you see?
Your sympathy and empathy have no place when talking about such a major position in the United States of America.
@Kannstipated
Amazing how much you think you know about women. All you have to do is look at Ginni Thomas to see there are idiots even in women. She should be tried for treason trying to overthrow the duly elected government.

They know NOTHING about the pollicies you present. As that old joke goes, the punch l.iine...."Why, you shoulda said something!"
Well, its too late. BTW I cant do Sonhouse/Trump anymore, I'm busy. I hope he is OK.
As to your insulin para, you fail to say 'why' it was blocked. I myself am not into research.
@averagejoe1 saidYou certainly aren't into "research" or what most people call "finding the truth". You simply accept whatever you are told by right wing propaganda sources.
