here you and I can protest without being murdered publicly by our government.

At least for now. They never investigated or disciplined anyone when government killed two people in Minnesota earlier this year. If you remember, the government shutdown of homeland security was caused by a request that Immigrations and customs enforcement be held to higher accountability standards for their actions. Republicans said no.

These are the types of protests and laws that keep our government in check. Things like warrants, accountability, checks/balances etc. Many US citizens see those things slipping away.

Yes but its the degree of corruption thats truly staggering. Trump is up multiple billions in bribes and fealty payments. Name a democrat that has corruptly gathered a fortune out of being in office, to the same order of magnitude as the Trump Crime Family Syndicate. For someone who promised to drain the swamp, the only thing he has managed to do is drain all the money associated with the swamp into his own pocket.

So if the DNC decided there was not enough time to run a mini convention to pick a candidate and if all factions were behind her candidacy, are you saying that was wrong/illegal/what?
