In other words, you believe 'apathy' and/or 'ignorance' will triumph. Fair enough.

It stresses that those are the specifically incidences that have been reported. Imagine how many specific incidences haven't been reported !!!

At October 2004, health experts estimated the death toll at 100,000.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/10/29/iraq.deaths/

Anyway, quibbling over whether the Iraq deaths is 100000 or 24000 is like quibbling over whether the 9/11 deaths was 6000 or minus 70000

At first you said, "I won't bet on people's apathy/ignorance". Now you've sworn off betting completely? Why did your position change so fast?

You may not be aware of it, but you do bet. Life is a series of wagers. You wouldn't put time and effort into this little campaign of yours unless you expect something out of it. If you don't get the result you want, you've already lost a bet, whether you take my bet or not.

I win either way. I've introduced the idea of virtual global rallies. You'd be lucky to get a one hundred thousand people at a physical rally and widespread media coverage ... but what about ten million at a virtual global rally that also gets much more media coverage ?!

You don't win if you don't get much media coverage, or don't get 10 million participants.

I'm up against many hundreds of activist and Democrat groups who have never heard of me and my campaign before. That isn't to say that, for their own campaigns, they wont adopt the idea themselves. I win either way.

First you have to prove that the idea works before anyone will adopt it.

It worked in the case of Microsoft vs Netscape and that only targetted the Attorney General on a less emotive topic.

i.e. I'm targetting all news desks and politicians and am likely to get more support given people's emotions.

However, it was an issue specifically related to computers.

Were you the author of that protest too?
