@A-Unique-Nickname saidYou sound like this is your first American election.
Democrats made a mess of the election, it's as simps that. The Biden thing was a joke, having to replace him during the campaign, they looked incompetent. Only themselves to blame.
hat this shows is the effect of propaganda on the population.
You couple the constant messaging about poverty, blaming immigration, etc. with Maslow’s pyramid, and what do you think you get?
If people think they are poor, that things cannot get better under a current regime, and a new regime promises them houses and jobs and makes clear there’s a small group to blame, they are going to settle for basic security before they prioritise developement.
How do you think the oppression of any group is constructed?
When the message is simplified, it’s easier to understand.
What’s more important to you, woman: feeding your kids or your right to an abortion?
Sorry to get all serious on you. But it’s the first step in implementing change: create a sense of urgency.
And the republicans have been hammering out this message for decades, escalating with trump.
Why do you think your “blue collar” workers voted republican?
Obviously, from an outside position, it’s very clear that trump’s policies are not going to benefit them.
Yet they seriously believe that what he’s offering is better than what they’ve got.
Because what they have is very bad, only getting worse and it’s down to immigrants, democrats and basically anything except the economic system.
This is what you are witnessing.
Take a step back for a second and ask yourself if the cost of apples really has anything to do with a school book referring to two fathers?
Yet, these are the connections which have been planted in your head.
Not even directly linking them, but as part of a wider picture of an all encompassing drama you are suffering. And somehow tackling dei and immigration is going to lower the cost of apples. Or is it tariffs that will lower the cost of apples? Or peace in Ukraine? Or bibles in school classss? Patriotism? Tax breaks for the rich?
Understand how these things are not connected and you’ll start to comprehend that there’s a muddle in your head. And that same muddle is planted in women’s heads too.
And that is why it seems they don’t care about the rights to their own bodies.
@mchill saidAt least Trump knew what a Woman was, the Dims have been trampling on Womans rights in the sports arena and Woman, I mean the real ones, had had enough.
Over the years Donald Trump has said some very abrasive things about women. His stance on women's healthcare, and reproductive rights have been especially harsh, yet he didn't suffer much loss of female support at election time. In 2024 Harris had the advantage among women, winning 53% to Trump’s 46% - an 8% advantage. To me this was probably the single biggest reason they got trashed. And issues aligned with this insanity.
@jimmac saidAnd where is YOUR 'respect' for women?

Yeah, trashed... by men.
Thanks for nothing.
@A-Unique-Nickname saidHahahaha.
Still waiting on the explanation.
Same reason I don't "explain" stuff they should already know to the Trumptards.
@A-Unique-Nickname saidI know what I've said in this thread.
So you have nothing, gotcha. Next time you have nothing better to say... Nothing.
And it wasn't "I have nothing."
All this complaining by non-Americans is exactly like men complaining about abortion. Uneducated at best, hateful at worst.
@Suzianne saidWhat "women" are you referring to?, the real ones or the pretend ones.
And where is YOUR 'respect' for women?
Yeah, trashed... by men.
Thanks for nothing.
I respect "people" for who they are, not what they are. And you got straight to my point, it was "men" that trashed Woman's rights, on this we can agree. That, as I just said, is why Trump won. That was the dims plan.
@mchill saidYou said "women's healthcare and reproductive rights"
In what way are his stances on women's healthcare, and reproductive rights especially harsh?
Donald Trump's plan of leaving women's healthcare, and reproductive rights up to each state gives red states the green light to pass laws banning abortion outright, as well as prosecuting physicians who perform abortions even when the life of the mother would be lost otherwise. ...[text shortened]... Wade.
SH - You seem like a pretty smart guy. I don't really need to spell this out to you, do I?
That implies you're talking about two separate things. Your explanation confirms that you meant one thing: abortion.
We can debate abortion until the cows come home (and we likely will), but casting the abortion debate as being about "women's healthcare" is sleight of hand, just as the right uses sleight of hand when they cast the abortion discussion as "protecting the lives of babies."
@mchill saidLike what, exactly?
Over the years Donald Trump has said some very abrasive things about women.
