All right, men and women are different in many ways indeed. Of course they are. But as human beings, intelligent and with similar expectations of a good job and living -- I would say they are equal.
Just as 2 men or 2 women are different - they're still equal.

The level of their intelligence and other factors belonging solely to each person determine how they make use of all the opportunities ALL human beings should have --education, at the same level, for example.

Quite funny really. A politician and very successfull businessman recently stated that no small business owner would ever in his right mind choose to employ a woman of 'pragnable' age.

A colleague of mine at work (an extremely ambitious lady) will be heading off on maternity leave late this year. By the time she returns next year, not only will she have to get into a new role (her current role being long back-filled by then) and learn the ropes again but, in all probability, any achievements she's had would probably be wiped out (in performance management terms) by then.
I guess mothers cannot be careerists (and vice-versa).

It can be done, if somebody is helping the woman with the child. That was my grandmother.
But I guess if you want to be a full time mother AND a careerist at the same time things get more difficult. Although I'm still not saying "impossible"

Didn't your grandmother had a full time job ?
Alright. I'm tired of people who I used to respect saying that men are better than women. Thats totally wrong. We both have equal rights. When it comes to strength and look ect ect ect women are better at some things and men have areas that they're better in too. Women are not put on this earth to clean the house, watch the kids, and please you guys. So stop. ðŸ˜
