After that you post the link. So...
Then get rid of everything but /ww47bR86wSc
So it looks like this...
/ww47bR86wSc
That backslash is the key to every youtube link.
Then add right after the little c
That's how you post youtube videos.
No capital letters while typing youtube.
Show me you can do it 🤔
If I type it all out it won't show you the correct way...it will show the youtube link.
So...

All in one line no spaces and no capital letters when you type youtube.
@mghrn55 saidBut the issues of the day should shape our ideology. We should decide what ideology we want to implement on the basis of how adequate a response it would be to the issues of the day.
But I find that the issues of the day, climate change, infrastructure needs and others have become trojan horses for those who want to implement the ideology.
I say present your ideology and let it stand on it's own 2 feet.
@teinosuke saidThe Border. Biden setting it all up for misery, and for cartels and traffickers to make billions, with no end in sight. Is that an issue of the day? Seems like saying it is Donald's fault is the issue.
But the issues of the day should shape our ideology. We should decide what ideology we want to implement on the basis of how adequate a response it would be to the issues of the day.
@teinosuke saidAgreed.

So the question out there is......
Should our solution to our climate crisis be presented on a platform of socialism ?
Or should it be a solution independent of ideology ?
With ideas presented from all corners ?
@mghrn55
Irrelevant unless you can stop China from being the major polluter.
Russia too...
There is a list of countries that ignore climate crap.
You're basically punching a wall unless they change.
If all of North America was green it wouldn't matter because most of the pollution comes from the China/India region.
@mghrn55 saidPart of the question might be, "Is socialism better suited than free market capitalism to deliver solutions to the climate crisis?"
Agreed.

But I agree, one should start with the problem and work out what solutions are most practical. If that leads us to modify our ideology, so be it.

The youtube number (the 11-digit code) is all you need between the ] and [
NO /
@contenchess said

I actually have no idea why it apparently allows the /
Stupid, though, it's not part of the 11-digit code for the video.
@averagejoe1 saidIt IS Donald's fault.

Wakey-wakey.
@shavixmir saidHe is defining fascism in multiple ways that I think are more opinion than fact because I could apply some of them to democrats as well as republicans like Trump. Democrats think Trump is a threat to the nation. Sonhouse is much like a fascist in that regard. He has an us vs. them mentality, right? He says Trump is a threat to democracy without evidence. He uses that as a justification for censorship.
Every now and again the definition of fascism rears its ugly head on this forum.
With people not understanding the difference between socialism and fascism, etc.
By pure chance I stumbled upon this video my a Yale professor on philosophy. It really defines fascism to the core.
Enjoy!

Some of those things he listed are common in partisan bias. It is silly to say someone is a fascist just because they see the other political party as a great threat to the nation. That is common rhetoric we hear every election cycle.
Stanley should have made a shorter list of criteria for fascism. All he did was make it harder to pinpoint what fascism is by cluttering it up too much.
@mghrn55 saidYou cannot be a dyed-in-the-wool capitalist and solve global warming.
Agreed.

Capitalists are always looking for the profit.
Looking for profit is what has caused global warming.
@metal-brain saidLook at you, acting like you know what you're talking about.

@suzianne saidYou cannot solve global warming. You cannot fight nature. Do you think we will stop the next ice age? Some things are beyond our control. Natural climate trends are one of them.
