One thing is for sure, people have called you childish and the thought of accepting that fact torments you. If you project it onto others it makes it easier for you to fool yourself you are not childish. Hating others for being like the part of yourself you hate helps you believe you are not what you hate.

It must be self torture to hate a part of yourself. I hope you can learn to accept your flaws. We all have them. It is nothing to be ashamed of. Perfect people don't exist. If they did the world would be more fair than it is.
