@vivify saidA typically inane quote from vivify. It doesn't matter if there's sufficient regulation, it's just got to be heavy regulation for the sake of being heavy regulation.
No, I'd prefer heavy regulation of such companies.
As inane as it is, it also reveals quite a lot about vivifys' philosophical and psychological state, and it's not a nice place to visit.
@wajoma saidAll this says is that you have absolutely no reflective skills what-so-ever.

You actually sound very un-New Zealandish.
Are you sure you’re not an Aussie incel?
@shavixmir saidNew Zealand is said to be a "libertarian paradise"
All this says is that you have absolutely no reflective skills what-so-ever.

@shavixmir saidCare to put some dollars on it? The larger the amount the more confidence you'd be showing., make it worth while.

@averagejoe1 saidThe people participate in the economy, sell and buy, some of the goods or services maybe being bought from the rich. And they don’t have to buy from the rich guys. There is competition, no problem.
Saw Bernie debate Lindsey Graham. He opens up with how there are a lot of rich people, and that something needs to be done about it. I get the socialism desires, but please answer me this.
If 1000 people live on an island, and 2 of them, unknown to each other, have a LOT more money than everyone else..................what business is that of the other 998 peopl ...[text shortened]... t I fear names, and words like government, will surface, which have nothing to do with the question.
It's not that simple. I've explained all this to you multiple times with links detailing each point I've made, and every time you retreat into your little FOX News world.
OK, seriously guys, give me one more shot, easy analogy.
two parents and 6 sons all live together in one house. One son is a priests, another owns a bike shop, ....and ONE of them is a stock broker who makes a LOT of money. Everyone pays an equal share for all household expenses. Stockbroker has a LOT of money in large box under his bed.
Does his wealth have ANYTHING to do with the lives, etc of the other occupants of the house? #1, Is anyone entitled to it? #2, does he owe any of it to any of the others?
@AverageJoe1
You might want to simplify the issue but in reality some of our 'rich' guys want to control the government so what you are saying is YOUR money should be left alone and not be subject to the rich person tax if such a bill passes.
@averagejoe1 saidIf the mother gets sick but can't afford to pay medical bills, should that son who makes a lot of money help?

@sonhouse saidIf what bill passes? Dont get you there. And For the Record,, George Soros wants to control the government, what is your take on him?

I did NOT say anything about MY money. All a bit confusing here. Yes, I do want to simplify, and there is nothing confusing about th little family all living in the same situation but one having a few million more than the others. What is your take on THAT?
@vivify saidYes, but classic liberalism, you avoid the issue. The question ain't that hard......and neither is the answer, as there is only one, but a liberal cannot bring himself to admit it.
If the mother gets sick but can't afford to pay medical bills, should that son who makes a lot of money help?
Could you maybe start a thread about charity and giving and philanthropy? About helping those in need, about volunteering, I will be glad to write on that one.
But first, how would you answer my question, about. getting the stockbroker's money? Should his brothers? Should Bernie go after the same ilk??
@averagejoe1 saidYou consider helping your mother pay for medical expenses "charity"?
Could you maybe start a thread about charity and giving and philanthropy?
@vivify saidNo, the answer to that is that each of the six boys are paying expenses, which would include emergencies with their parents.
You consider helping your mother pay for medical expenses "charity"?
. You Truly know that, are you trying to make me look bad with the Forum ? Anyway, that would be a great bad question for your thread that you’re gonna get started about Charity.
@vivify saidReminds me of a response by vivify when I asked should I pay for the abortion of the daughter of my neighbor. He responded by saying what if your son, average Joe, had impregnated her? He should not pay, of course, but then Vivify could not say that, so he changed the subject. That seems to be what is happening here.
