5) Dehumanization
6) Police-state tactics
7) Undermining the credibility of elections
8) Violating privacy of citizens for "safety"

Trump might be a more vocal fascist, but on policy he's little different than Reagan or GW.
@wildgrass saidOf course it matters.
None of that matters.
Western, civilized countries decided 80 years ago that fascism is never the solution to any problems. It's tempting, but the cost is way too high.
There are plenty of other solutions. But people seem to like the warm blanket of fascism.
A stupid govt does nonsense
People protest, but nothing is done
They vote out the stupid govt, and bring in a new one
The new one fixes the problem
The lame supporters of the old one call the new ones fascist.
You are making yourself look like a damn fool ... again.
@no1marauder saidI suppose maybe there were hints of fascist tendencies among Republicans, and the immigration system was sort of set up to facilitate a concentration camp-like society. But it was previously balanced with diverse ideas, legal constraints and civility. Show me where Reagan called immigrants garbage poisoning our blood. He didn't dehumanize. From what I could remember, Reagan attacked ideas not entire groups of people.

Trump's building massive concentration camps for foreigners, now. Detention centers are full of tens of thousands of non-criminals. The voice is important for things like dehumanizing people, but Trump's actions are also fascist.
@wildgrass saidDon’t get you.
Why would you quote Hitler but not mean it in the same way that he meant it?
I see above where your comrade said Trump is worse than Reagan and GW, implying that he is more of a fascist than they were fascists.
Wow, all this time we’ve been run by fascists. Yet not a hint of fascism has risen over these 30 or so … and not since 2016.
@wildgrass saidThere were different scapegoats and objects of hate back then such as gays and the poor. Still the divide strategy based largely on nationalism and ethnic and racial identity was still central to the US right.

@AverageJoe1 saidPoison in the blood.

@AverageJoe1 saidBlah blah blah.
Please don’t. Trump’s personality? That is an element of fascism?,!!??
He has ended 7 wars, he has interrupted the plans of Iran, call it what you want, they’ve effectively warred us for long enough. Other presidents danced around ‘something that needed to be done’. They chanted death to us, not to you flower children. ‘Death to Netherlands!’ How does that sound,
S ...[text shortened]... here , espSue, do not even attempt to. Hey, is his orange hair a tip-off? To you, it would be.
And no, he has not stopped seven wars.
Dumb arse.
@wildgrass saidOf America.....blood of AMERICA! Not real blood, like HItler was raving about. (oh, an element of fascism??Raving! Who raved with a high shrill???? Riiiight, Biden). So personalities to not make fascist. Hell look at SHouse posts!! He would make a good one if he had that penchant.
Poison in the blood.
Countries do not have blood, people do. Countries have beliefs, economies, such as that. The Muslims??? Their next move will be to run Minnestoans and UK out and change the beliefs.
@shavixmir saidSome say conflicts. Shavixmir wil now admit and concede that Trump stopped seven conflicts. If he writes in faeirie-speak, he will come back with..."That was not done by Trump by himself, there were other people involved like his secretaries, and some emissaries, and the people who set up the room for the meetings". "And his pilot when he had to go places...He could jot have done it alone without his pilot!!!!!""
Blah blah blah.
And no, he has not stopped seven wars.
Dumb arse.
Witness it , if you don't believe me. Right on this very thread.
@AverageJoe1 saidWhy did Trump quote Hitler if he meant something entirely different than what Hitler meant?

@Rajk999 saidNo we're just disagreeing. You say fascism is ok to correct the wrongs of others, but I don't think fascism is ever ok.

@wildgrass saidSorry, I am not aware of Trump quoting Hitler. What do you mean he was quoting Hitler? If you are saying, he said the same phrase as Hitler about the blood, he did not mean the same thing. That has been clarified. He did not mean to the Iranians that he was going to wipe out their civilization of people when he said that he meant he was going to ruin their economy and their ability to live in Iran as he blows the hell out of it
Why did Trump quote Hitler if he meant something entirely different than what Hitler meant?
A fairy would think he meant the same thing.
@wildgrass saidYou support the problem makers. I support the problem solvers.
No we're just disagreeing. You say fascism is ok to correct the wrongs of others, but I don't think fascism is ever ok.
I know nothing really of this 'fascist' nonsense and these stupid labels you use on people all the time. You are a label-man. I am a fix-it man.
You are a woman, I am a man. We are from different planets.
You create problems, we solve them.
Carry on making some more.
