If they worried more about crime and less about politics, and about the man who's personality they do not like, NYC would be a better place. When he becomes president, they would do themselves a favor to ask him for his help to eradicate the vermin in NYC.
I'm just curious, you know people in our forum underworld....Do you have ANY idea why they hate him so much? I have never seen a straight post explaining it. Many politicians, such as JFK, had affairs, so it cannot be that. His business dealings are his business dealings, so it cannot be that. He did.a less than perfect job of picking people to assist him in his presidency, some being crooked, so it cannot be that, as no one is perfect. He has a confusing journal entry problem turning of the definition of entries being personal or being campaign money or some such. Does not seem a big deal, no one was hurt, and his lawyer who did it is a proven liar and crook. So, it can't be that.
So, what is it? Any one else I asked, like SHOuse, go off the handle and get lost after the 2nd word of their answers. Something about him being orange, and they do not appreciate his off-the-cuff humor about being a dictator. He will indeed dictate as did Biden on his first day...so, it can't be that.
What is it??

NYPD budget is massive. Massive.

They need to enforce all laws not just the ones that you care about. If lawmakers who new Yorkers vote for don't like the laws, they change them.

Given the finance-heavy industry in NYC, falsifying business records is a big deal. Companies know this.

Here from the over world. More than 90% of Trump's former cabinet members including his vice president are not voting for him.

Maybe it's you who is in a cult?

If they prosecuted rapes, murders, stealing, and attacks as big deals maybe there would not be so many of them.

Do you want to get into the details of why such a large number of rape accusations go unprosecuted? This issue is very complex, certainly there are some law enforcement resources issues.

However I have a feeling you'd rather run cover for the cult leader. Make it seem like falsifying business records should not be prosecuted as a serious crime.

Just lay out your reasoning not sure what a cult has to do with anything. You think Brag has a cult following, or the governor of NY? They are the ones in power there now.

Only the cult of Trump refers to felony falsification of business records, convicted by a jury of peers, as an "accounting error".

Law enforcement makes mistakes, that is undeniable. But you witness and hear about incident after incident after incident, cops shoot the unarmed, wrongful convictions, corrupt DA.for decades, not a peep. Indeed, conservatives used to defend all the police malfeasance. "Well the victim should have complied with officers, should have listened, should not have been walking there, should accept punishment."

Not trump. The man who sits on a golden toilet persecuted by the system. The reality TV star who refused to settle obvious felony crimes out of court, saving taxpayers millions, manufactured his own reality TV show just outside federal court.

You weirdly imply here that convicting trump meant a rapist goes free? Absolute carp.

You're in a cult.

Any criminal other than trump and you sycophants would see the logic. Appeals process sometimes will overturn the ruling of a felony, but that doesnt mean the felony did not exist.

Convicted of felony crimes, you're a felon. If you think the felon was wrongly convicted, that doesn't magically make the felony disappear.

The MAGA cult does the same thing with elections. If Joe Biden is our current president ( do you agree?) then how could trump have won the election?

You would be capable of taking the loss and moving on, but you're in a cult.

You are saying every accounting error is a felony, so if you make a mistake on taxes, then you are guilty and should be prosecuted. Even if you are the CEO and someone in accounting does it, it's jail time for you. You are justifying a lawfare, if this becomes acceptable then no one is safe.
