If May was uprooted, it is more likely David Davis would take her place. Gove or Boris would't get a look in. (Popular with the public possibly, but not with their fellow MPs).
Corbyn did well in the election and has at the very least protected his position as leader of the opposition. That's a long way however from Number 10.
