@eladar saidAre you, like Mott, making the claim that blacks are lazier than whites i.e. have a lower "work ethic"?
So does that study take into account where the people live? In the northeast people make more money than the South.
Does the study take into account the work ethic of the people involved or simply group people by high school drop out? Does getting apprenticed after dropping out count as dropping out?
Have you looked beyond the numbers to see if all of these other aspects have been taken into consideration?
Maybe you and he should try to substantiate such a blatantly racist claim.
@no1marauder saidHow does living in the Northeast as opposed to the South make one lazy?

How much does a teacher make in Mississippi? How much does a teacher make in Massachusetts?
@eladar saidAre you now pretending you didn't suggest that blacks had a lower "work ethic"? You might want to edit your post if you are going to retract that claim.

Are there a lot of high school dropouts in the teaching field?
@eladar saidIt's true, of course, that people in most areas of the country are better off than in the South. https://www.pgpf.org/blog/2019/10/income-and-wealth-in-the-united-states-an-overview-of-data

It's not true that everybody in the other regions is White and everybody in the South is Black, so I'm not seeing how that would make such a large difference(which persists at every level of educational attainment).
@no1marauder saidOk, I tried to have a conversation with you.

@eladar saidAny facts right wingers don't like are called "fake news" by them. This just makes them dupes or liars.
At least we had one person try to prove white privilege, but with fake news.
Hey look, I can show difference in income based on skin color alone without taking into consideration other factors! As we all know other factors do not exist! That is what is called fake news.
You are free to try to explain those income differences by presenting whatever data you desire.
@no1marauder saidAre you saying black rich families DON'T???
The median white high school dropout makes $10,000 more per year than the median black high school dropout.
Earl won't take a stab at explaining that, maybe you can using "only rich white families benefit" theory.
Please.

@earl-of-trumps saidIt is the basic problem with handing people a pretty much free place to live.
That's a huge problem and that's why the "projects" need a whole new redesign.
Blow 'em up! Start all over, only do it RIGHT
Median income
Massachusetts 80k
Mississippi 45k
Demographics
Massachusetts 78 percent white, 8 percent Black
Mississippi 57 percent white, 38 percent Black
Instead of white privilege it should be called regional privilege.
They need to ship a bunch of white people from Massachusetts to Mississippi and a bunch of black people from Mississippi to Massachusetts.
This would go a long way to do away with perceived race advantage.
@eladar saidWouldn't help much if you retained the present system of implicit and explicit racism:

Here's median income among one-race households in Massachusetts:
Asian: $91,150
Black or African-American: $46,925
Non-Hispanic white: $84,988
Hispanic or Latino: $41,995

About the same ratios in Mississippi except Hispanics do a bit better:
Median household income is lowest for non-Hispanic black households ($41,361) followed by Hispanic households of any race ($51,450), non-Hispanic white households ($70,632), and Asian households ($87,194).

if you were to compare the above to an IQ chart you would get the same result. Do you think that comes into the matter?
