There is a strong element of Puritan/Calvinism in America, which is deeply anti-Catholic, and this may be partly why the Irish, Italians, and Hispanics (who are predominately Catholic) have been excoriated at times, especially when they first arrived in America. While there have been Catholic presidents (Kennedy and Biden, spring to mind), they have mostly kept their religion out of politics, unlike increasingly vocal Evangelicals.

The weird thing about the so-called Patriotic Front, is the absurd mixture of self-proclaimed pseudo-paganism and extreme conservatism (women having no vote, etc.). I think they may have borrowed this invented mythology from Nazism, which glorified a legendary Teutonic hero who defeated 3 Roman legions during the reign of Augustus. It would be comical, if they weren't armed and dangerous.

Religion to these people is primarily an ethnic identifier. This is why radical Protestantism works hand in hand with Asatru pagans who wear Thor's Hammer medallions and refer to Jesus as "the Jew on the stick" while rejecting Catholicism, Judaism and Islam.

It's not so much borrowed from Nazi Germany as this had been a conversation going back and forth between USA, UK and Germany. Hitler got a lot of his inspiration from Madison Grant's writings which explicitly separated Nordics from "Alpines" (Celts) and Mediterraneans.

No I don't. Cleopatra was white. Black Africans aka mayates have a long history of vicious racism against anyone who is different which is why the Khoisan are on the brink of extinction.
