@Earl-of-Trumps saidWell, it seems you've started the journey, how about you complete the trip?
I think it is safe to say that socialists may be rightists
@moonbus saidHe hates Greeks and Spanish too
How kindly is Mr. Rousseau, who wants to deport U.S. citizens not of White European ancestry? Can you imagine the public outcry if he tried to deport George Takei ?! Mel Brooks ?!?
@Earl-of-Trumps saidWanting to grab power is not specific to socialists. Techno-billionaires want that, too. The question is, for whose benefit is power wielded? The common good, or the further enrichment of the one who holds the power?
socialists may be left or right, that is not what makes them socialist.
socialists want to grab as much power as they can, which is what makes them inherently wrong, in my book.
So, what did Jared Kushner do for the common good to 'earn' a 2bn dollar bonus from the Saudis? Did he lower the prices of eggs or medicines for Americans? Did he reduce gun violence in America? Did he secure day care for working American women's small children? I'll give you a hint: none of the above.
@AThousandYoung saidUltimately, he hates himself; he's just projecting.
He hates Greeks and Spanish too

@Earl-of-Trumps saidYou put too much stake in mere names. Communist East Germany called itself a "democratic republic", but everyone knew the elections were farcical, not least East Germans themselves.
So was the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics....
...but that does not mean that they weren't hardcore leftists to the max
The terms "left" and "right" don't mean much any more. The so-called conservative GOP has utterly abandoned all the conservative principles it once espoused, back in the days of Wm. F. Buckley for example. Whether you agreed with Buckley or not is not the issue--at least he had principles and expressed them coherently. The GOP today is simply in thrall to an incoherent demagogue without any principles at all.
@Earl-of-Trumps saidLook, I gave you the answer to that question on the test.
socialists may be left or right, that is not what makes them socialist.

If you wanna fail that test, go ahead.
Can't say I didn't try to make you see reality.
@moonbus saidHe increased the Saudis' access to the President of the United States.

That's what got him that $2 billion. It's called 'influence peddling'.
