I thought it was Israel. So why would Israel have to invade Gaza to take the Natural Gas and Oil?
I know Hamas is supposed to control Gaza, but Israel controls water and electricity in Gaza. Hamas' control seems very limited, so how much control does Hamas have over the natural resources of Gaza?

Froma a legal point of view it belongs to the Palestine Authority. However since 2007 it belongs de facto to Hamas, which doesn not accept the Authority.
Today it is at least partly occupied by Israeli Forces.
Maybe it should belong to the pople living there. Their will is unclear, but Hamas has won the last elections (or so it is said).

For many decades Gaza has attacked and terrorized Israel. It is easy to demonstrate this to the satisfaction of the UN and international community be reference to the dozens of rocket fire, suicide bombings etc into Jewish civilian territory. They have build underground tunnels for military purposes under civilian areas. The entire place is designed for attacking Israel.
Israel had typicallly been defending
- they built walls
- they installed security cameras
- they set up an iron dome
- they have check points in and out.
This is why you will find that their own Arab and Muslim neighbours are for the most part staying out of this conflict. They are also fed up of low terrorist tactics of the Palestinians, and they are wilfully turning a blind eye but still paying lip service and condemning Israel, but nothing concrete is being done. It is strange how nobody is stopping Israel. They condemn with their mouth, but not with action. Secretly most countries want Hamas and their supporters dead and finished with.
The end game here - Hamas is going to be history. Gaza is going be annexed. How many more are going to die? Who knows. The job must be completed, and Israel knows it cannot stop now.
