@athousandyoung saidJohn Kennedy tried to do that to Cuba.
Neither Putin nor Howard Roark can repo property they don’t legally own
Since we do it Russia can do it too.
@metal-brain saidUkraine was constantly crushed and oppressed by Russia and the Soviets until it got full sovereign independence in 1992. Russia tried to recolonise it but got chased out of Kyiv along with their stooge president.
Ukraine was a colony of Russia. Now it is a colony of the USA.
Ukraine was overthrown by a coup.
The scumbag coward Putin should have learned his lesson then, but no, countless Russian casualties later he still harbours his superpower fantasy, if someone in the Kremlin doesn’t ‘remove’ him from power and change tack there may well be mushroom clouds over everyones capital cities.
It’s like Britain threatening nuclear Armageddon because it had to leave Kenya, it’s a pathetic level of self delusion on Russias part.
@kevcvs57 saidViktor Yanukovych was pro Russia as was Leonid Kuchma.

@Metal-Brain
You want to spin it so your boss Putin doesn't look so bad but the people leaving did so RIGHT AFTER PUTIN announced the military conscription so you are as usual full of shyte.
@metal-brain saidUkraine was a country long before Russia was. Ukraine was also a sovereign country illegally occupied by Russia. It was never a legitimate colony of Russia, no more than Poland, Georgia, and the Baltic states were.

If Russia wants a colony, let it look to the Siberian wastelands, not to its more civilised and longer-existing neighbours.
@shallow-blue saidI suppose you are going to say the Philippines, Japan and South Korea are not colonies of the USA too. You naive little boy. Nobody invades other countries and doesn't leave puppet governments behind to control them. Common sense.

Is there any propaganda that you don't believe without question? You are the kind of guy that would support the Nazis and wave the swastika until the bitter end. You would have parroted everything Goebbels wanted you to.

@Metal-Brain
You are really the Putin apologist and it IS the conscription causing folks to leave and now they are cracking down on folks leaving. Maybe some leave because of the nuke threat but the majority don't want to fly into death in Ukraine, you can see how well the Russians have done so far, with their top down leadership and now that the generals are mostly dead the war is run by captains and such who don't have a clue as to warfare strategy and the weapons they have are antiquated besides and the food rations have been proven to be years old, captured tanks with rations in it showed that. This was an ill conceived war on Putin's part, he had this stupid idea the Ukrainians would welcome them throwing flowers at the incoming troops glad to be in Russian control.
So what is your Putin apologist reply?
@sonhouse saidPutin was working with a skeleton crew of troops for that war. It is amazing he did so well for so long with so few of them. He solved that problem with conscription.

Don't you want to avoid nuclear climate change? Funny how you are so scared of a little CO2, but not nuclear annihilation. Why did you stop caring about the environment?
