Anyhew, what ever happened to that Kadaffi character in Africa? He seemed promising at first as he was behind some terrorist attacks but he was nearly assassinated by Reagan which seems to have made him pee his pants at one point and we never heard from him again. It seems that he turned out to be a real disappointment. We can only hope he is really working behind the scenes to make up for lost time.

Libya is where Muammar Khadafy reigns. He recently went down the giving up WMD road and America has begun to normalize relations with Libya.

Saddam was no worse than many other dictators. The difference was that he was sitting on a big barrel of oil.
They all do it.. so none are worthy of condemnation? Or are you including any of those for which the UN has raised thier hand in solving, only to have stood by and, by many accounts, joined in the travesties?
... of course you're correct in stabbing your finger at the past-worn "did it for Oil" cop-out.. The US has made out like fat rats on this deal, to the tune of how many billions of their taxpayers?.. after how many lives? Man, what a lucrative venture in oil sezure!
I don't suppose there are any bitter folks at the UN, not that they were on the take or anything... it's not like they were benefitting from Saddam..
