No uniforms, no badges, dressed like thugs and wearing masks. If the student had been packing heat she might have been within her rights to shoot those goons down.

Still, isn't it more than a little creepy that law enforcement officers are concealing their identities from the public? Furthermore, the CIA has no mandate to arrest people within U.S. borders; that should be the job of the FBI or local police with a warrant.
Maybe they are afraid of being identified and doxxed and themselves and their family members becoming targets of random vigilantes with no personal connection, just like a lot of people these days at all levels of American society.

Undercover work is for gathering evidence of a crime. In this case the thugs were there to make an arrest, so no, there was no justification whatsoever for them not to display their badges, at the very least. There was no way for the victim to know she wasn't being kidnapped by criminals. Which in a very real sense she was.

Damn, I sure miss the days of neighbors ratting on each other.

But if that student drew a gun, she'd be dead instead of just disappeared (which I'll admit is just splitting hairs).

Well, they're saying now that they were ICE. Extremely strange way for ice to be acting while making a detainment. Hiding their identities, taking her a 1000 miles (5 states) away to a ice detention center. 100% illegal; and, it violated the court order of a federal judge. Yeah, I'm all broken-up about those poor Tesla dealerships. 😏
