@my-king-and-i removed their quoted postWhen are you going to learn to at least know what you're talking about before opening your gob, yeah?
@moonbus saidI agree. We need names, badge numbers, and body-camera videos from those putative LEOs.

A doctoral student at Tufts University was whisked away by masked men claiming to be police.
This is not national security, it is naked intimidation. Exactly how it started in Nazi Germany.
@moonbus saidNo uniforms, no badges, dressed like thugs and wearing masks. If the student had been packing heat she might have been within her rights to shoot those goons down.

They remind me of the Fingermen in V for Vendetta.
@moonbus saidMaybe they are afraid of being identified and doxxed and themselves and their family members becoming targets of random vigilantes with no personal connection, just like a lot of people these days at all levels of American society.
@KingDavid403
Still, isn't it more than a little creepy that law enforcement officers are concealing their identities from the public? Furthermore, the CIA has no mandate to arrest people within U.S. borders; that should be the job of the FBI or local police with a warrant.
@my-king-and-i removed their quoted postUndercover work is for gathering evidence of a crime. In this case the thugs were there to make an arrest, so no, there was no justification whatsoever for them not to display their badges, at the very least. There was no way for the victim to know she wasn't being kidnapped by criminals. Which in a very real sense she was.
@moonbus saidTruth Social and Trump's Literary Gazette have nothing to say about this, so it must not have happened.

@Soothfast saidDamn, I sure miss the days of neighbors ratting on each other.

But if that student drew a gun, she'd be dead instead of just disappeared (which I'll admit is just splitting hairs).
Who fingers the Fingerers?
@KingDavid403 saidFBI and ICE would wear clearly-labeled jackets. Ask Kristi Noem, who went down to El Salvador to "inspect" a bunch of shirtless guys from Venezuela.
To be fair, I think we have to wait and see what is going on with this case. She is in the USA legally; so that's not ice agents; more like FBI or CIA. They suspect her of being some kind of spy for Hamas is the report I heard on the news.
The problem here is, we don't know if she will get 'due process' all thanks to this current lawless administration.
@my-king-and-i removed their quoted postNot a national security threat. She was detained for expressing the wrong opinion. It's a sign of a weak government.

@My-King-And-I saidWhy do you right wingers keep equating your politicians and police to criminals?
Why are you people so dumb?
Any cop involved with any undercover work will cover their face when making arrests.
@moonbus lil feller, you don't mind when criminals cover their faces so stop being a hypocrite.
Never mind. It's obvious.
@Arkturos saidWell, they're saying now that they were ICE. Extremely strange way for ice to be acting while making a detainment. Hiding their identities, taking her a 1000 miles (5 states) away to a ice detention center. 100% illegal; and, it violated the court order of a federal judge. Yeah, I'm all broken-up about those poor Tesla dealerships. 😏

@KingDavid403 saidSounds like ICE may have been having a meltdown.🤔
