Yeah, we could kick everyones arse and be done with it if we decided to .. but we won't.
Wouldn't be PC and we can't have that.
France and Sweden wouldn't love us anymore, and that would be a tragedy. We won't know how to act if they don't tell us. They're older, they're wiser, they're civilized.
We're not .. we're Americans.
We need their approval, they're sooo cool, we wanna be just like them.

Yes, your inferior complex is appropriate. I think the best way to describe
the US as a nation would be to picture it as a five year old child who just got
his hands on this awesome computer from which he can blow up the entire
world. It's just so cool you have to do it.

Much as your effete snobbish character fits the proto-typical Europutz. I think the best way to describe

Europe as a unit can be seen as a great great great grandfather who sits dribbling on his chin, badly in need of a diaper change.
Every once in a while he gets a twitch and goes off on the neighborhood kids.
Thinks he's on top, but hasn't had a woody in decades.
The children laugh and point .. and hold their noses.

Show the elderly some respect, damn you! 😠 I've got a walking stick
here just waiting to make your acquaintance.

Seriously, it's not to be snobbish or anything like it, but it scares the hell
out of me to know that some of the most advanced and horrible
weapons conceived of by mankind are in the hands of people who
constantly needs to be reminded that knocking people down is not the
best way to deal with differences in opinion.* "Erm, If I beat the crap
out of you, you'll have to see things my way. Uuuh..."

all Americans are like that.)

dont kid yourself. there is a real danger in the US of feeling that youre the centre of the universe, all powerful, and the rest of the world sucks. that may be what your are programmed to believe but beware, that is total crap and youre deluded, the world is a vast and complex place, not susceptible to simplistic reasoning of the sort that you display in your remarks. i would suggest a little more thought and wisdom, humour does not camouflage crap you know.
have a nice day

That was Europe that posed as the center of the universe .. not America. Could be you're feeling a sense of loss and yearned for centuries past.
Sure, we'll crash and burn someday .. just not today, whereas Euroculture is dead and stinkin' already, just hasn't shown the good form to lay down and die gracefully.
You are the greatgrand children of greatness .. and have pissed it away to the point that today .. you're weak, you're old and really quite girly in nature.
The best of Europe has left and built a better place .. America.
"Old Europe" has been dead for 100 yrs,, burnt out, decayed, feeble, ineffectual, debased and decadent.
Once great .. now flacid and useless.

That's actually all very funny.

Trouble is, he's right about old Europe. After once being the dominant continent, it now finds itself a bit down the list. About 4th. After all that time trying to do whatever they tried to do in Africa, Europe is now strategically less important than even Africa.

Old Europe no longer has a desire to play on the world stage, they just want to conduct it so they can tell the players what they can and cannot do. They still have the want to shape the world, but no longer have the will. The exeption being a part of the British population that still resemble Britons.

Perhaps, a lot of people (and don't tell me Americans are not like this
'cause I know better) realise as they grow a little older how useless it is
to fight battles of no importance in some far away land where nobody
wants you anyway. It's much better to first clean up your own act, then
care for the people in your immediate surrounding and finally start
worrying about how people further away are doing.

ok neither america or europe are perfect, but they are what weve got and weve got to make the most of it. slagging each other off is pointless. i personally love europe and america too because politics isnt everything.

That's where Europe and most war detractors the world over miss the ball.

We know a lot of them don't want is there. Only a fool would think that's the only reason we're there. And frankly, we don't have any worse problems closer to home.

The simple truth of the matter is, terrorism attacked us. Now we are reshaping the Middle East. That's what a country does when it defends itself. It does what's necessary and doesn't stop doing what's necessary cause some group or other doesn't like us for it, or because more civilians died in wars we engaged in than died here when we got attacked. All that takes a back seat to defense when a Nation has a will.

Question 1:: How many of the 9-11 terrorists were Iraqi or Afghani?

Question 2: You say that Afghanistan was attacked because Al Qaeda planned the 9/11 attacks and were based out of Afghanistan. If Al Qaeda attack again, while the u.s. control Afghanistan, does than mean that whatever country is attacked is well within their rights to attack u.s. "controlled" afghanistan? If not, why not?

Question 3: The Taliban are accused of harbouring Osama Bin Laden. In all probability he's still hiding in a cave in Afghanistan. Are the u.s. hiding Bin Laden from justice now? If not, why not? If the land is uncontrollable now, why was it that the Taliban supposedly had total control 4 6 short years ago?

Question 4: Is Pakistan a legitimate target due to the fact that OBL could be hiding there?

Question 5: "Terrorism" attacked ye, "terrorism" was made up about 90% of Saudi Arabians, why is u.s.' major ally (alongside Israel) in the Middle East Saudi Arabia?

Question 6: Should the u.s. kill every man, woman and child in the world outside of the u.s. in the defence of that great nation? If not, why not? How else can you insure national security?

Thanks in advance for your answers,

D
