@averagejoe1 saidI bought NVIDIA in 2019 for less than $100/share. It is an equity to hold for the long run. I recently invested in AMD. A deal between Microsoft and AMD is in the works..
I will give you a hint on NVDA.,,( the rest of your post is classic Sonhouse, you are a guru too, are you??)
I didn’t tell you that I bought X number of shares early on for $180. Secondly, you know it will drop, but if it doesn’t, I will already have reinvested in upstart AI companies, actually today at 9:31.AI is the future, but you don’t sit on NVDA with all this action going on. You gonna sit there? You still sittin on Disney??
@averagejoe1 saidHere are some of the real grievances I wholeheartedly agree with conservatives on: immigration is broken, federal spending is way too high, the DC swamp is corrupt.
When you said ‘perceived grievances’ above you lost a lot of readers past that point, as there is no perception involved with these grievances, being actual fact.
I did see below that, a reference to Race, meaning god-knows-what, but again, when you liberal little fellows actually call that famous new song about ‘Rich Men Richmond’ racist, you once again lose readers.
Your post sucks , no offense. π
All three of these agenda items got quantifiably worse in the 4 years that trump was our president. More illegal entries, accelerated spending, re-weaponizing govt agencies to target political rivals. And he was following 8 years of liberal rule with Obummer. He had a mandate and the support of Congress. His assignment was easy and he failed miserably. Why do you support him still?
@averagejoe1 saidNone taken. Whenever people on both sides of the political aisle attack me, I know I'm doing well.

Incidentally, I didn't say perceived to imply that there is no justification to the grievances. I said it because whether there is justification is irrelevant to my point, so I didn't want to get sidetracked by making a judgment one way or the other.
@averagejoe1 saidAre you kidding? Have you seen the prices on these cards?
I don't care why or how they have grown portfolios, I am on another TRAIN! Glad you are on it too, maybe you will start getting the drift.
@sh76 saidOK - I'll buy that. It's a pity that folks back in 2016 only focused on his words and choose to turn a blind eye to his actions. Fortunately, the judicial system is taking his retirement plans into their own hands - Who knows, his trials maybe completed before he dies of old age!
It's not conservatives that worship Trump. It's a constituency of people angry at the establishment for various perceived grievances, mostly having to do with outsourcing their jobs and villianizing their culture.
Why? It's simple.

Trump, like every presidential candidate, promised things he couldn’t deliver. But in his case, he promised things no one could have delivered, and many of the things he did deliver (a withdrawal agreement w the Taliban, for example), were spectacularly incompetent.
@moonbus saidThe brilliant politics was convincing everyone that he accomplished the things he promised even though he did the opposite in reality. π

@wildgrass saidHis tough talk was all hot air and opposite results to those desired. He did not bring either Iran or N. Korea to heel. His prize campaign promise, to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it, resulted in him plundering the military budget to get a few miles of it constructed; totally ineffectual, and hugely expensive. He also ran up the third highest national debt of any president ever, and that was before COVID; for supposedly being a genius businessman, Trump has zero understanding of fiscal responsibility.

@wildgrass saidEasy, Wgrass. Biden is touting his economics like everything is hunky dory. I just bought some chickens so we can have some eggs, and even the price of chickens has gone up! So you are avoiding the Biden misery, are you? Pray tell how. Mtg rates at 8% and inflated home prices, puts you young fellers out of the housing market, but you can always put two families in one house as Pelosi suggested. Wonder how she saw this coming?

@moonbus saidThe way y'all write all this ad nauseum......there must be something eating at you. I believe it is simply that you saw everyone around you prosper and you didn't. Govt data showed annual incomes (average) increased by $5000.

Most everyone I know has planned and invested and produced thru life, so when Trump took over, imagine how much THEY prospered. Everyone with any sense did.
But then, there are the frisbee players, and the dart throwers in the pubs..............maybe it is they who are writing these posts. π€
