whose army are you proposing to use in this operation? the one that's bogged down in iraq? air power alone cannot conquer a country, there must be soldiers on the ground if one wishes to hold territory. the u.s. military is already stretched beyond its capabilities in iraq and afghanistan and they don't look to be leaving anytime soon. iran is a far large israel and constant interference - and occasional military intervention - in their region.

You can not destory or cripple Iran with only a few bombs. We are not stupid. We have built many stations for peaceful nuclear energy, we are becoming more learned, we are advancing. You cannot withold us, oppres and abuse us forever. Do not look down upon us with comtempt, we are your equals, not your inferiors.

While I appreciate the whole Gandhi impression, if the international community fears that Iran is seeking to arm themselves with nuclear weapons, then I can't help but get a tad nervous. It's not contempt, it's simply concern.
What does a theocratic nation need a nuclear arsenal for? Protection? That's irony for ya.

We've been in all kinda wars, we should be used to it now.. (my "we" is us, everyone.. the world..)
If you ever read the Quran, you will see that God orders the Islamic state to be armed and ready in case war breaks. Not in offence, but yes, in defence the latest of war technologies have to be explored.
Now am not sure why Iran wants to go nuclear. My fear is that Iran has a Sunni state in mind, rather than the West.
I guess we'll find out one day.. or be long dead before then.

1. Israel alone can destroy and cripple Iran with a few bombs. Far more if the rest of the West was involved.
2. Only a Dumbass will believe that Iran is building nulcear facilities for energy.
3. Iran is not technologically equal to the West. If they were the nuclear weapons plant would be built without having to ask/beg for permission. Its a fact of life.. Powerful men, nations, groups dont ask permission .. they just do it .. Get it ?
4. There are very few goods that Iran can produce without the assistance from some other country .. Far less a nuclear facility.
