The government needs to provide proof, a rationale for accusing someone of terrorism, before enacting punishment.

You want the government to be able to say it's illegal without any justifications. Your roundabout argument is convoluted and weak.
For what it's worth Joe there is a press conference in which the government (Pam Bondi) is asked what evidence they have on this person that they have sentenced to life in prison.
She does not provide an answer. So you're saying illegal illegal illegal over and over in this thread but the government has not provided any evidence of that.

I live in the real world where Trump are trying to coup the US and make himself the USSA version of Putin. A part of that is pissing on the Supreme Court, the rule of law, and due process. That is terrifying me because of what comes next. Fascists always go to war.

EVERY person has the right to due process of law and what Trump is doing is downright cruel and a clear abuse of power. It is also clear you WANT that innocent man to rot in a concentration camp and no doubt on board with Trump's idea of "homegrown'' cast to the hell of the El Salvador concentration camp, homegrown meaning US CITIZENS who happen to be incarcerated in US prisons.
It's sad he was deported because he was doing OK, but he was not a legal resident.
It is above cruel punishment to again not be given due process of law and it does not matter they are prisoners there is no way LEGALLY Trump could just grab a bunch of prisoners, US CITIZENS without due process and dump them in another country, UNSPEAKABLY cruel. So suppose those prisoners have a 10 year sentence, and they are sent to the gulag, which now becomes a life sentence.
Trump is NOT going to think things through, if he did he would never have sent the original bunch to the gulag in El Salvador in the first place, so he will just grab people with ANY sentence and drag them off in chains, fly them out of country and into a concentration camp.
There is no court in the land that would allow such flagrant abuse of power AND Trump will just ignore any such order by the higher courts INCLUDING SCOTUS.
He CLEARLY thinks he is in fact a king and therefore TOTALLY above ALL US laws, he considers himself the one in charge and above ALL the other branches of government.
THIS is the constitutional crisis we have been warned about for years.
It is here and it is NOW.
