You asked why the Corina virus hadn’t brought your country together like it seems to have done in some other countries.
The third your asking about will be waiting to evaluate the government and opposition responses to the pandemic as part of their how should I vote equation. All voters in all democratic countries will be asking themselves that question the next time they find themselves in a voting booth.
That 1/3 have seen what is going on and does not seem to care.

What are the odds? The odds are higher that it was intentionally released. The facility was being funded by US entities who oppose Trump.
What I'm saying is unintentionally released in their own population, and after that intentionally released to the rest of the world.
Socialists only have reason to feel ashamed of themselves if they let a crisis go to waste.

Back in the day when I was good enough to consistently win at chess, I was never offended by someone who assumed I didn't understand the game. It can work in your favor whenever an opponent underestimates you, and it's likely Trump understands this as well.

How many big government budgets would not benefit from a virus that mainly kills the elderly and those with health issues?

Too busy staying safe and aren’t really interested in generating a lot of partisan hot air, perhaps their environmentalists.

Whether seen as being good or bad, there are aways unintended consequences.
Not everything that happens is intentional, and no one is smart enough to foresee every eventuality.

Quite a coincidence that the lab in city in which the outbreak occurred was funded by Trumps political opponents.

Many of the same people stand to make a lot of money by providing tests and perhaps a vaccination.
