Serious question, why is the idea of actual policy bills not even close to the minds of the magites ruining congress right now?
We don't even need to debate whether there are actual policy bills coming out of the repub side, that is obvious, the question is WHY?

the question is WHY?

Perhaps it's because The GOP is a deeply fractured party. They can't decide what they want.

My favorite is linked here, the Wall. This issue is the one that is the source of most hell in the USA. Since abortion will never be resolved, I find it quite boring, the bottom of my list. I've never been in a street and never will be, but if I have to, my sign will say save babies' lives.

I dont know what 1926 in the link is. Do you think it is a date? Maybe it is Biden birth date, or the number of times he has been to the beach.

This is your best example of an accomplishment? It will never pass. Republicans are incompetent. Here is current status:
This bill is in the first stage of the legislative process. It was introduced into Congress on January 9, 2023. It will typically be considered by committee next before it is possibly sent on to the House or Senate as a whole.

If that were the case they could solve it. But I think the why is that the elected GOP representatives don't have the required skills to accomplish anything or they are just too lazy. They spend their time on Tweeter and TipTak instead of trying to do stuff.

Congress is run by Republicans. They could and should pass the bill that Joe mentioned. They haven't even discussed it.

I know your talking bobble head on the boob tube is telling you Biden is antichrist but Congress has nearly unlimited authority to set immigration policy. They choose not to.
