@sh76 saidIf we were not so personal, that would not happen. I mentioned just above, for instance, that Ayn Rand preached self-reliance. Self reliance is good, would you not agree? But the responses from libs are horrible on that subject.....and always of a personal nature. If they would stick to facts, 1 plus 1 = 2, it would be more productive. And they would have to say in the end, that self reliance is good.
Probably because negative posts play to the crowd and get more likes/responses/comments than sensible even-handed ambivalent posts.
Personally, whenever I try to be even-handed, I get ignored or ripped by a wingnut from one side or the other. Just the nature of the beast.
But they don't. Such a post thus goes in the trash file, as being false.
@averagejoe1 saidWhat Ayn Rand screeched, and what Ayn Rand practised, are two very different things.

But isn't it always like that with you "self-made" parasites?

@averagejoe1 saidJoe - is it not apparent that your comment about not being personal was in itself attacking people ("they" ) on this forum?

As far as debates go, the fact that Ayn Rand preached self reliance but was herself dependent on government assistance seems like a fair point.
