Probably because negative posts play to the crowd and get more likes/responses/comments than sensible even-handed ambivalent posts.

Personally, whenever I try to be even-handed, I get ignored or ripped by a wingnut from one side or the other. Just the nature of the beast.
If we were not so personal, that would not happen. I mentioned just above, for instance, that Ayn Rand preached self-reliance. Self reliance is good, would you not agree? But the responses from libs are horrible on that subject.....and always of a personal nature. If they would stick to facts, 1 plus 1 = 2, it would be more productive. And they would have to say in the end, that self reliance is good.
But they don't. Such a post thus goes in the trash file, as being false.

What Ayn Rand screeched, and what Ayn Rand practised, are two very different things.

But isn't it always like that with you "self-made" parasites?

Joe - is it not apparent that your comment about not being personal was in itself attacking people ("they" ) on this forum?

As far as debates go, the fact that Ayn Rand preached self reliance but was herself dependent on government assistance seems like a fair point.
