Al Gore and the DNC requested recounts in Florida. Less than 100 votes separated the two candidates. Yikes. Remember the hanging chads?

When the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 calling an end to the recounts in mid December, it was over....

He did not:

- continue to claim the election was stolen after legal proceedings had ended.

- claim election fraud of any kind.

- attempt to coerce public officials to change their already-decided decisions about election outcomes.

- conspire to create false electors to sweep into Washington and elect the loser of an election.

- interfere with official congressional proceedings.

It's not political persecution. If you don't do these things, then you don't get arrested.

Maybe he should have done those things.
You don't justify stopping the vote counting, do you?

That’s Free speech most of the US thought he was illegitimate for numerous reasons but she conceded as soon as the he got the required number of states.
If you cannot post without lying don’t bother, like Al Gore she never committed or was accused of committing any of the crimes that trump has

All the more reason she should not have gone on to say “he knows that he stole the 2016 presidential election". Do you think she contradicted herself?

"That’s Free speech most of the US thought he was illegitimate for numerous reasons"

Most Americans don't believe the 2020 elections were legitimate either. 70% of republicans don't think they were fair, so how many democrats thought the 2016 election was illegitimate?

Do you think democrat election conspiracy theories are more legitimate than republican election conspiracy theories?

NO! She can express any opinion she wants to express within reason but she cannot make numerous attempts to thwart the transfer of power as expressed by the will of the people, which is exactly what trump is accused of doing.
Why are you pretending there is an equivalence between expressing an opinion and taking concrete steps to disenfranchise everyone who did not vote for you.
Trump categorically stated before 16 and 20 potus elections that he would only accept the results if he won. Just how freaking stupid do you think people are, by people I mean everyone except the maga base because all bets are off on how stupid they are.

Trump never did that.

Hitlery Clinton told Joe to do the same thing.

Do you see the difference between what Al Gore did legally and what trump did illegally?

From what I remember about the Gore legal decision, it was along partisan lines and there wasn't any good logic to stop or keep counting. But a decision had to be made.

Trump's legal challenges were much more straightforward and didn't require SCOTUS. Once you take extralegal action after these court challenges are fully resolved to alter the election outcome, then you become a criminal.

SCOTUS helped Bush steal the election from Gore. What is wrong with counting all of the votes?

What extralegal action? He said to protest "peacefully". There is nothing illegal about that. What are people supposed to do if the election was stolen using a corrupted legal process? That is how most dictators steal elections you know. They corrupt the legal process to make the rigging seem legit.

Are you suggesting accepting the election results in Saddam's Iraq was accepted legally and rightfully so and nobody had a right to protest?

It wasn't stolen and it isn't corrupt.

Trump had ample time and exhaustive resources for legal challenges. His team of conspirators started doing illegal things including tampering with and threatening election officials, hiring alternate unauthorized electors, imposing extralegal deadlines, etc. And unlike Al Gore, they did all this while knowing that the vote outcome was accurate.

How do you know it wasn't stolen? Did you point that out about Hitlery Clinton when she said the election was stolen from her?

"they did all this while knowing that the vote outcome was accurate"

How do you know it was accurate? Were the elections in Saddam's Iraq accurate too? After all, no election fraud was found in Iraq while Saddam was in power. Right?

Why is it only bad when a republican does it?
Do you think it was acceptable to not count all of the votes in FL after the 2000 election? And don't you think Gore had the right to make a big stink about it if he chose to?

Hitlery did not do the illegal things that Trump did.

I didn't write that I knew the count was accurate. They knew. They knew because many people who also knew told them many times.

When it comes to legal matters, he does know what he's talking about, and so does SH76. It doesn't matter if you accept it or not.

Start by having evidence that can be accepted in court.

Over 60 different courts dismissed Trump's claims of election fraud, including the conservative Supreme Court. That's in addition to Trump's own DOJ *and* Trump's Attorney General saying there was no evidence of widespread election fraud.

Trump not only has no evidence but he's also been contradicted by people he picked to be in power. Therefore he can't claim a "corrupted legal process".
