@spruce112358 saidThat is a meaningless statement since only one will win, you can make any assertion you like, but the answer is only going to be seen by how the loser responds.
The Left will accept a Trump victory to the exact same extent the Right will accept a Harris victory.
@Suzianne saidThis is incorrect.
She won't moron. She'll get someone to step in and do it for her. Probably the President pro tempore of the Senate.
That is, if she wins.
Harris will certify the election on Jan. 6, 2025 whether she wins or loses.
“George Bush of the state of Texas has received for president of the United States 426 votes,” George H.W. Bush said on Jan. 6, 1989, to a joint session of Congress. “This announcement shall be deemed a sufficient declaration of the persons elected president and vice president of the United States.”
This was after George H.W. Bush won the 1988 election.
@KellyJay saidIt is not a "meaningless statement."

It is exactly how the reins of government have been turned over to the next president and vice-president for over two hundred years.
@KellyJay saidShe will go through a peaceful transfer of power on Jan. 6, 2025, despite your assertion that she won't.
She did get a single vote for the top of the ticket, she was appointed.
If she doesn't go through with a peaceful transition of power, how is that
loving the Constitution?
No one is sure whether Donald Trump will accept his loss. He didn't last time.
@Metal-Brain
It's not the election if he wins that will be the problem, it is what he will DO with the power of the presidency and what he has already said is to pull the broadcast licenses from CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSMBC and arrest the journalists BECAUSE they dare to criticize poor misunderstood Trump. That would be on day one of his dictatorship.
Day two would be pull out of NATO, arrest 20 million folks and put them in concentration camps prior to deportation, FUUK what it does to the jobs market, day three would be the 20% tariff which would make a 20,000 dollar becomes a 24,000 dollar purchase and do you think Trump gives a rats ass about that? ALL he thinks about is money, money and oh yes, also money.
NOTHING else.
@KellyJay
You are disturbingly naive if you think he won't try the same thing again. He is ALREADY doing the groundwork for that which you would totally deny OF COURSE, installing election deniers to electoral college counter committees is already happening in several battleground states.
I totally expect a TOTAL denial of all that, because you will NEVER get out of the "YOU JUST HATE HIM SO ANYTHING YOU SAY IS BOGUS" mode.
@KellyJay
What will you say WHEN if he loses the electoral count, he goes RIGGED, and the rest? I wonder what you will say then? We KNOW what Trump will say because he already predicted what he will say, which is RIGGED, MASSIVE fraud just like that last time which you probably deny that is what happened THEN.
And OF COURSE you will ALWAYS go, YOU JUST HATE TRUMP SO ANYTHING YOU SAY IS BOGUS, ALL LIES.
Even though we are just repeating what Trump SAID in public and recorded so anyone can hear and see it.
You can also see it in the response given by JD Vance during the Walz/Vance debate, the moderator asked Vance, 'Did Trump lose the election in 2020'?
and he refused to answer, going, I am thinking about the future.
A non-answer which he repeated three times, REFUSING to say NO he WON the election or yes he lost, he refused to answer either way,
"I am looking to the future' was his reply, and he NEVER WILL answer that question.
Its funny that a few years ago Vance said Trump was America's HITLER and now that is in fact coming true but he quickly switched when he found out he was in the bin for being VP. NOW all of a sudden, Trump is the greatest POTUS the US e ever had.
@KellyJay saidAcceptance does not require belief. I don't care what Trump believes - does he ACCEPT that he lost?
He believed cheating was why, that was then this is now.
All indications are that he did NOT accept his loss and instead entered into a conspiracy to overthrow the election which ultimately failed because Mike Pence had principles.
Because he has never been punished for his insurrection, all indications are that he STILL does not accept it and so may well work to overthrow the election (and hence the government) AGAIN.
This is a problem of our constipated, glacially slow justice system which embodies the phrase "justice delayed is justice denied." We should post that over every courthouse.
@spruce112358 saidHe was not punished for something he was only accused of. Partisan politics he has been accused of many things!
