Don't get me wrong. I'm not volunteering any more than I have to pay to avoid going to the slammer, but in theory, I'm willing to pony up a few extra smackers to help balance the budget and even to help provide universal healthcare.
Now all we need to do is find some politicians who'd know how to administer my extra tax $$ and we'll be perfect.
