Or understand the laconic dry wit of an Australian, brimming with self deprecation and irony.

It is a pity that someone with worthwhile
things to say also has the time to spout nonsense.

And to save Duchess time: ...

The troll Wolfgang59 shows little reading comprehension ... blah blah ... sexist, bigot.
Sorry Wolfie , but the ...." shows little reading comprehension and is barely illiterate gang " is very exclusive and I, being an honourary member feel you do not have the necessary bad grammar and abysmal comprehension of the English language to join our select club .

You show an understanding of great pop/rock songs from the 70s

The extremely clever Don McLean song 'American Pie' used exactly the same couplet

' while Lenin read a book on Marx
The quartet practiced in the park'

Lenin = Lennon (didn't take much for McLean to sing 'Lennon'. )

Quartet = Beatles (often thought a reference to t ...[text shortened]... if John was reading a book on Marx!

(I would add Marx and park is a v poor rhyming couplet!)
Lennon read a book of marks
