Bill Harkelroad, alias Zoot Horn Rollo, might have died recently. I meant Jimmy Rainey, played with Gil Evans' big band, I did write Chuck. put him on the bass list.
Toots used to play guitar in the Dick Cavett band, a late night TV show in the 60's & 70's, he also wrote "Bluesette"

You surely need to find room for Henry Kaiser, Nguyen Le, John Abercrombie and Vernon Reid. Can't tell you who to drop from the list because there are too many names I don't recognize.
So you want to study guitar....hand your student a list of two hundred guitar players that they will have to listen. Some great additions being added.
