The Olympics haven't been the same since the U.S.S.R. broke up. And allowing pro players to compete in team sports has ruined it as well. If I had to pick a favorite sport, I would have to say it's the swimming events.

I'm most looking forward to the 1500 meters. The flag bearer for the US will run in it. He's only been a US citizen for a few months. He is one of the "Lost Boys" from Sudan. If he wins, it will be an incredible story.

I totally respect your choice, but i have to say that i find America's actions deplorable.

The disrespect that they are showing the country that is hosting the games, is beyond reason. Not only do i believe that the Olympics shouldn't be politicised in this way, but i also believe that the words "Pot, kettle, and Black" should be on the flag that this poor sudanese patsy is carrying....foreign policy, i don't think.

I don't see a hundred thousand troops massing in chad for the push into Darfur...can anyone tell me why? (a cookie if you can guess)

What disrespect do you mean? Trust me, Lost Boys and patsy do not belong in the same sentence. I've come to know a bunch of them. They are at their core survivors.
