2012 RHP Prose Competition - VOTING THREAD

Deadline is Sunday yes. I come on and see another 28 posts on the thread. Lots of votes I hoped lol thank you for the tip very rusty still waiting to see if you will bother to vote as you have strong opinions on the prose.

I liked these three especially for their interpretation of the "Seasons" theme. "Tick", in particular, did a great job evoking the oppressive heat and humidity that I remember from the late summers of my childhood.

2 & 3 a tie, really.

I must say that my choices are not a reflection of the quality of the entries, all of which
appear to me to be worthy, but simply of a personal preference,

1. Tick, for what was left unsaid rather than what was stated,
2. The Crawling Spring of Times, because i love the dawn,
3. The Crossroad Demon, because i sold my soul to one to become a blues man.

3 points goes to : Crawling Springs of Time - i could feel myself in the fog reading this

5 points goes to : Tick. Really enjoyed reading this and reminds me of hot summer holidays as a child
