My vote is forthcoming, do not dismay,

1st - Entry 1, Tick

2nd - Entry 9, A Winter's Run

3rd - Entry 6, The Crawling Spring of Times

I liked these three especially for their interpretation of the "Seasons" theme. "Tick", in particular, did a great job evoking the oppressive heat and humidity that I remember from the late summers of my childhood.

Well done everyone!

I must say that my choices are not a reflection of the quality of the entries, all of which
appear to me to be worthy, but simply of a personal preference,

1. Tick, for what was left unsaid rather than what was stated,
2. The Crawling Spring of Times, because i love the dawn,
3. The Crossroad Demon, because i sold my soul to one to become a blues man.

The last set of votes come from me. The votes will be counted up and the writers will be unmasked

1 point goes to: Kilcan - an enjoyable read

3 points goes to : Crawling Springs of Time - i could feel myself in the fog reading this

5 points goes to : Tick. Really enjoyed reading this and reminds me of hot summer holidays as a child
