The GF might not have been the best place to be doing the VOTING IMHO.

After all the subject usually changes after 4 to 5 posts.

I'm sure next time Silverstriker volunteers for this task he'll do it another way - put announcements in the GF and provide a link to a voting thread in a saner part of the site. You're right, there's no controlling the GF or appealing to posters' better natures here.
