I don't recall any trouble of that nature in the past. I think most of us know when it's a thread with a purpose we respect that.

Except its not really a general forum thread is it. It's the 'prose comp' thread which happens to be taking place here and I am a fan of the prose comp. As for forums in general, not so much 🙂

Just curious.. how can the final voter manipulate scores any more than any other voter? I assume you're referring to bullet voting, i.e., voting only for one contender.

I have a question. Aside from having fun coming up with a story, what does "winning" the contest get you? It's just a lot of fun and getting a chance to read the stories submitted by people who, like you, enjoy some writing adventures. This is NOT the clans where, apparently, there is a big payout for being #1.
