What question was that.
"How does that follow? "

Ie, why does my lack of loyalty to any government mean that it doesn't matter where I live?

You make use of government benefits right. Schools, hospitals, etc. etc. I'm just thinking how long you last in Iran if you mouthed off about their government.

Yes, and I pay taxes to help support these things. I'm talking about ideological loyalty -- in particular I feel no obligation to potentially give up my life for any government (nor do I feel anyone is ever so obligated). Also, I don't think people ought to feel any greater connection to or concern for a fellow citizen than they do for a foreigner (provided they are both strangers) -- in other words, nationalism is unjustified.

Thanks for the thought-provoking and on-topic response. I'm glad you've persuaded me by your careful reasoning that my views are in error, and I'm glad that your consideration, wit, patience and humanity are here to serve as an example to the dumb youth. I only hope your response to my post in Debates is as enlightened, for the sake of everyone my age, because we badly need to be shown that exploding heads are funny and that the measure of a person is in how much they can bench-press.

A good day to you too!

Can't reason with you son. You and me are on different sides of the scale. I served in the military and you mock it, I've never kissed a man but you have, You go to college and I drive a truck to earn my living, I love my country and you hate it. I could go on and on but what for.

Certainly not. It's too slim for me.
