It's potentially a great deal. More info would be nice however... What model is it, how old, what condition, etc

I want to shoot sporting clays. You walk down a wooded trail and you come to stations. You stand up on the station with your gun out of the "window" in the station. Then you load it with 2 shells. You call out "Pull!" and then wait for the "birds" to come flying out in odd directions. Some will come out rolling across the ground about 20 yards in front of you (simulating a rabbit) and then the second one might go flying from right to left 30 yards up in the air across the open area in the woods. Some come out 2 at a time and sometimes the second one only comes out once you take your shot at the first one. At one station the clays came from way behind you and 30 yards up in the air over your head to float down slowly in front of you.

It was good fun and I am ready to go try it again.
I want to buy my brothers used shotgun so I dont have to borrow when we go out.

I guess there are just too many Euro-pansies here to get any really good firearm advice!

Sigh!

Its a Browning Citori that is probably 5 or more years old.
Im not sure of the exact model. It has been taken well care of (my brother is a stickler for keeping in good condition), it has a few dings in the wood from regular outdoor use.

The cheapest new Citori I could find was the Lightning model for
$1,699.00 . So $850 sounds like a good deal possibly.

PS im glad there is at least one Non Pansy Panty Wearing good ole boy here on this chess site!
