Idiot.

I have nothing but sympathy for the loss endured by those in the 9/11 attacks and their families... however, it is 6 years ago. Time to move on. When exactly does it become acceptible to stop taking a moment of silence for them. Which while I'm on the subject, I guarantee you a good amount of those who claim to be so sorry about what happened are only thinking about how much it sucks to be losing a moment of their allready short day and are only thinking about how pissed off they are for having to be dead silent for a 60 seconds. My praises go to the select few across the country who had burritos the night before and cut loud farts during that minute this morning. What happened was tragic, no doubt about that. However I'm not gonna continue living in the past. Hell, over 2400 people died in the Pearl Harbor invasion, nobody talks about that(and if anything, that attack was for less understandable then the 9/11 attacks).
So go on, feel bad, do what you do, whatever it is that you do. However, don't knock the rest of us who are continuing on with life. If we don't, life is just going to continue on without us.

Elvis died 30 years ago... I didn't piss on those threads that day.
Christmas, 2000 years ago. I don't piss on those threads.
You are free to think 6 years is a long time if you like... but if you piss on a 9-11 thread of course your going to get some negative feedback from some people who still care.
