Better than losing 5 of 6 to the D-Rays and Royals. You're almost done with your patsies the Orioles, 15 wins out of 16. You'll have trouble with Wingo's Tigers; your boys are probably shaking in their Nikes knowing that the Yanks are coming in Friday.
Nuh uh! You're scared! You're such a front runner, like most Yankee fans are that you won't even watch a game unless your team is way up on the other team. We wouldn't even be having this conversation at all if the Yankees were down, cuz that is when Yankee fan goes and hides.

It's so easy to be a Yankee fan. It takes bawlz to be a Sox fan.

Red Sox fans are the scum of the Earth. Crybabies for 85 years and when they finally win one, they have to make a stupid movie about it (without one nude shot of Drew Barrymore)! Those of us who support the MOST SUCCESSFUL SPORTS FRANCHISE IN HISTORY don't have to resort to such lameness.

Dirty rotten Yankee fan! We cried, but we hung in there. Yankee fan wants it all, and wants it now. If Yankee fan doesn't get what they want, they just wait a little longer and get it. How the hell is a little New England city supposed to stay up with the capital of the world NY NY?

But something special happened in 2004 for the living faithful of Red Sox Nation. They got their ring after 80 plus years of waiting, and we all wished our fathers and grandfathers, and great grandfathers could have seen it. It WAS something special, and a feeling you will never have.

So enjoy your 26 rings, because you never know if it might be 80 odd years until you get another.

The Sux got pounded while the Yanks won easily. Another day in paradise.....

EDIT: Scumbag Red Sux fans booed Clemens when he was introduced as one of the 50 Greatest Players at Fenway. No class yahoos.

"If Yankee fan doesn't get what they want, they just wait a little longer and get it."

Umm... where were you in the 80s and early 90s? Would you consider a decade and a half just a "little longer"?

Oops.

On second thought, you probably would, considering that the Sox had to wait over 85 years...

"How the hell is a little New England city supposed to stay up with the capital of the world NY NY?"

So Boston is a "little New England city"? Hmm... don't exaggerate.

Indeed, it was something special, something I'm sure you enjoyed. And I am happy to say that I had that "feeling" five times myself.

"So enjoy your 26 rings, because you never know if it might be 80 odd years until you get another."

I can't tell the future, but I doubt it will take that long... at least for the Yankees. Either way, I have been fortunate enough to experience my fair share.

And for the record, all I ever hear from Sox fans is their whining about Yankee fans being front-runners.

Pure BS.

After the 2004 season, all I saw were fans who decided to come out of the woodwork and jump on the Red Sox Bandwagon on the very last game. And personally, I have ALWAYS worn my Yankees cap with pride, whether were 4 games behind the Sox, or 4 games ahead... it don't matter. YFL.

Wow, I didn't expect a message from you!

Whooo! Sox are sucking wind just like the good old days!

Your Yanks had some great things to say about their tough win tonight, they didn't deserve to win... and let's not worry about the Sox, if we win... we won't be caught.

That was cool, I respect the yanks a bit more ever since I saw Jeeter dive his face into the stands... and Nomar went idiot club-house cancer.

When did they boo Clemens??? We used to hate him, but kind of like him again.

You guys boo A-Rod and booed Jeeter when he was slumping last year or the year before. All fans are idiots.... most anyway.
