well then lets just go all out then, wide brim "pimp" hat (crush velvet and purple) Bell bottom polyester pants(white) black large collared shirt(imitation silk after all only the best will do), white polyester sport coat.

Nah, I think you've got it. One concern--the pimp hat will conceal the glory of the fro.

I'm starting to think Bowmann is the black Austin Powers.

OK lets make it geeky then, Hat sits on top of the fro, not to crush it, but balanced and held on with bobby pins

That would suit the Bowmann look very well. Maybe with a nice big "Cor blimey!" badge. Other slogans could be added.
