Red Dwarf is one of my favourite all time TV programs. I've watched every episode, can recite swathes of the show's dialogue, i could even play a part in it....which led me to think up this thread.




I was thinking about who here at RHP would play each part in the TV program, much like the Movie thread.

Obviously i'd chose myself as "Lister" - the antihero, and eponymous spacebum.

For Cat, i was thinking of Kirksey (we could have so much fun there).

For Kryten, i was thinking Grampy Bobby. The rule bound Robot, who Lister tries to break the programming of, and who longs to be human.

Holly would be Hopscotch. I.Q of 6000, slightly space senile, and not afraid to get down with the lads.


Which leaves us one character left........Arnold Judas Rimmer.


I was thinking Very Rusty as my choice of being a rimmer, he has the same temprament, the same stickler for rules atitude, and i can just imagine his nostrils flaring as he salutes His captain Red (no offence). In short, i think Very rusty is our Rimmer.


Who do you think is a Rimmer, and why?

What about No1marauder - he has always struck me as a bit of a rimmer.


Also, Where could I fit into the equation? I am quite a big red dwarf fan too (although not series 7 and 8 )
