The mayhem in Asia is incomprehensible.
Two terrible disasters simultaneously.

Please take just one minute to sit quietly and consider the events and the losses and wish the best to all those suffering from your hearts. The numbers of dead will reach 200,000. Consider the relatives and the lost childen, the loss of homes, lack of food and water and the rebuilding required.

A simple prayer may go a long long way! Respect costs nothing.

Times like these, you realise just how puny we humans are, with all our progress and technology and sophistication ...

and how many people respond to other people's misfortunes with compassion and kindness...

not everyone is making sick jokes about these personal catastrophes, although sometimes I am ashamed of the behaviour of some people on such occasions.

Thank you, Mike. We are assuming you, masterlom, your wife and her family are unscathed and secure. Please write more as you

are able. Be confident that you are in our prayers, many many of which have always and still go higher than the ceiling. -gb

Shame by association.

One can be ashamed by ones family, ones friends, ones government.

A shameful act by another of the human race can make us feel ashamed.

Personally I'm not ashamed of anything I do!
