Yeah, I know, you are right, but it maes it also more challenging.
The "deeper' thoughts are history of few beers. I am not taking these
games too seriously, I am just playing for fun and entertainment. I
don't have a desire to reach to the top (which I would not mind), but
since I am working on TWO masters at the university, working fulltime
while traveling 35-65% of my time, this is fun.
The only time when I have a time for a beer is when I am playing.

It's really just for my own information and curiosity-- when I was in
college, many years ago, I will admit that I indulged in pretty much
every substance known to mankind. I'm also toying with an idea for a
short-story about a Master chess player who becomes addicted to an
experimental drug that he is only supposed to take while playing
chess, and what sort of impact that would have on his everyday life, so
i just wanted to put the question out there and see what people had to
say.

It may be far worse than that; heard recently that alchohol happens to affect a rarely used part of
the brain which, coincidentally, is also important in the thought processes involved in chess. Net
result is the strong risk of a brain haemorrhage. Thereagain, my ongoing test–program has failed
to confirm this so far.
