What a thoroughly horrible person you make him sound. He drove his car when he was drunk? And then he didn't see out the punishment? What a creep. Have you ever known anyone killed by a drunk driver?

no.....and its a bit late to try and make me feel bad about what he did, he died 8 years back.........and yes he regreted drink driving and gave up the booze straight away...but he still needed to make a living, a journeyman cant work without transport.

I don't give a damn how the story makes you feel. You described despicable behaviour. He should have informed the police in the UK that he had been prosecuted for sociopathic behaviour and served out a ban of his own volition. Have you ever known anyone killed by a drunk driver?

Lets put you in the same situation fmf. Would you inform the authorities when you needed the drivers license in order to work.?

I can't speak for fmf, but I would never be in that situation in the first place.
