@badradger saidWhat a thoroughly horrible person you make him sound. He drove his car when he was drunk? And then he didn't see out the punishment? What a creep. Have you ever known anyone killed by a drunk driver?
my brother bill held both ,that came in handy when he got a years ban for drunk driving in oz he just came home and drove on his uk license.
@fmf saidno.....and its a bit late to try and make me feel bad about what he did, he died 8 years back.........and yes he regreted drink driving and gave up the booze straight away...but he still needed to make a living, a journeyman cant work without transport.

@badradger saidI don't give a damn how the story makes you feel. You described despicable behaviour. He should have informed the police in the UK that he had been prosecuted for sociopathic behaviour and served out a ban of his own volition. Have you ever known anyone killed by a drunk driver?
