I wish the moderators could monitor some of the players then I wouldn't have to tolerate the abuse I just went thru from a higher ranked player. In chess you can learn a lot by playing the higher ranks. To be insulted by a higher rank is poor sportsmanship at best.
If anyone wants to know who I am tralking about ; contact me. 😳

Nobody can abuse you. They might insult you, and/or say derogatory things, but they cannot abuse you. If the "insult" they make is out of line then you should copy & paste it and send it to the "send feedback" moderators.

I'm not making excuses for said person... I want you to know that there is a system in place to handle your complaint and I personally appreciate you coming forward.

Thank you. Abuse was probably a wrong choice of words but the insults were very degrading and demoralizing to someone trying to learn the game.

How does one do that? Do you simply add them to the ignore list?

i cant create a new thread, but i'd like to say that there are some prolific junk-thread makers and that if people were limited to creating say just one thread per week, or similar, they might show some restraint. the quality of threads has taken a serious beating lately.

Are you suggesting the forums be closed down.
Get rid of all the nonsense threads and you may as well.....there wouldn't be much left, especially in the General forum. 😉
