I wouldn't catch the train in Cape Town after dark, no sir. I did recently and nearly had a nasty experience.
That's a shame.

Come to Canada, Bosse.

That's great! I REALLY want to live in a place where anyone who has a grudge can just walk to your house to get a gun.

😞
Why would they bother with all that walking? Surely they could just use their own. 😕

A paradise where I can live on public transport.

I'm still wondering about that "setting fire to people's hair" comment.

nyc has been transformed into a clean-cut, law abiding town. the poster saying it is otherwise is clearly watching old movies (like Death Wish with Charles Bronson) from the 1970s.

Warm weather, you accidentially drop your bag on the toes of the little grey lady - and next thing you know, you're back at the OK corral.
Oh no, you misunderstand. I don't go out looking for trouble, far from it. I'm as polite as I can be, sorry, excuse me, all that. But that doesn't mean I'm going to allow some idiot who's having a bad day take out his frustrations on me. I'm not a thug or a gangster or anything of the sort. I'm just another guy on the subway. One who can defend himself to the fullest!

I'm not saying it's a everyday thing. But living here all my life and commuting twice a day each workday, trust me, eventually you'll see something. And all you can hope for is, it doesn't involve you.

Definitely NYC has improved, but slowly ever so slowly, we slipping again. Where's Guiliani when you need him?
