The post that was quoted here has been removedI miss aggressive city people. Not the drug addicts, of course.
People in the suburbs are just so hopelessly bland and polite. I come to a stop sign in the road and someone who has the right of way, stops and waves me on. So I wave them on, since they have the right of way, and we both sit there motioning for the other to go, until I finally speed through the intersection, pissed off that this idiot has wasted a couple minutes of my time.
Loud or dangerous people on subway cars, are obviously a different matter, but the big walking scoops of vanilla who inhabit the suburbs are sometimes just as frustrating, while being far less interesting. It's like living in a bad 80's sitcom.
