I'd go into the future to see if humanity survives and if we do in what form. The way things are going there will World War III before the end of this century.

Problem there is how will you tell someone 2000 miles inland it
was you nuked there castle? No phones, telegraphs, etc.
Riders take a long time. Better would be an aircraft carrier group.
That way you have helicopters, attack jets, no possiblity of
defense, turkey shoot. Take lots of fuel.
