Thought you folks might like to know about this ...

http://www.freeiPods.com/?r=21297175

But before you cut and paste it in - notice I benefit from you doing so.

to anyone who doubts how this works read this bbc report into the matter:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/newsnight/3683524.stm

If you the fancy giving it a go try my link above, please note you do have to join a company e.g. screenselect, which is a dvd online rental company, however since these are normal online businesses you can cancel them as soon as you have recieved credit for them just as I did!

A friend of mine told me about the FREE IPOD deal, so I went to the site and signed up! Note that the site I went to is not the one you posted, HOWEVER... I NEVER got a free IPod at all! BUT, I got so many damn advertisements that I actually was forced to shut down my email address!!! 😠

Yeah, this is the REAL WORLD... they don't give you something for nothing! After the harrassing 72 ads per day I received (for giving my email address out) I really had to SHUT IT DOWN and start all over just because the company sells the email addresses! And, like I said, they never gave me an Ipod! 😠

I thought that everybody who knew anything about computers had an email address specifically for this type of spam.

I can't believe you signed up for this with an email address that was worth something to you.

exactly. Hotmail can have all my junk. When I sign up, I use that, go in for a second to get my "verification code" or whatnot, and don't have to deal with anything else.
