On the side note of parents and behavior on the computer:
Personally, I don't think that it matters how much you were punished or how you were raised that dictates how you act on the internet. In cyberland, you can be whoever or whatever you want. How many people are there that are decent people in the community yet you find out that they have kiddie porn on their computers or they were making sexual advances on minors. Furthermore, you can have the best up bringing in the world and still be a complete and utter psycopath (Ed Gein, perhaps?).
Now, with regards to be upbringing, I don't know who this reinfield guy is yet he is able to assess my situation based on a stupid thread that I created (and I figured it would be dead by now). So I lack discipline yet I have two degrees and I'm working on my masters while holding down a 30 hour a week job. That shows I have no discipline. I lack manners despite the fact that I hold doors open for people, say please and thank you at appropriate times, say excuse me, etc., but there are no manners here. And with regards to my mother, she never had to tell me twice to do something because she scares the hell out of me. It's funny because you would never be able to pick me out of ten before based on how I act on here. But hey, reinfield is obviously a master at discerning the hidden cache of my soul and past that I apparently laid out in front of me while I typed this thread. BRAVO.
