Watched in yesterday. Made me love Paris. Also Yann Tiersen composed some amazing masterpieces for the movie.

Asterix et Obelix (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0250223/) is a great movie too. The sense of humour shown is absolutely great.

also manon de source and jean de florette.
ronin has got some french in it and jean reno so will wedge that in along with leon

Haven't heard of the makeover, but the film was very successful when it first came out.

I can also recommend the soundtrack album.
